1. Inquiry
Let's get to know the details
The first step is to make sure we’d be a good fit for each other. I’ll ask for more details about your business, budget, and timelines through email to make sure we are aligned on expectations before we begin!
2. Prior to take off
Secure your spot, do some paperwork
Once we’ve decided to work together, I’ll finalize a proposal and contract. A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot in my schedule. Once you’re booked, I’ll be sending you an email with all next steps, including filling out a more detailed questionnaire. This will inform not only your aesthetic and visual direction preferences but also the strategy – ensuring all the work we do not only looks great, but is created from a deeper understanding of your audience and vision.
3. Creative start
The take off
This is where you can sit back and relax! I begin the creative work at this stage (this is where everything starts to come together). I’ll design and present the base design and identity, which will be followed by an opportunity for refinement. After refinement to the first design, we’ll work on designing the remaining assets. I require all feedback within 3 business days to ensure your project stays on track.
4. The heavy lifting
Designer to Developer
Now that the design has been approved, I will turn the design into what will be your final digital asset.
For Graphic Design this could be making the final artwork files for the printer, or making the appropriate optimizations to the files for specific uses.
For Website Design and Development, we’ll move onto building it out! I go from designer mode to developer mode to ensure your site comes to life. When development is complete, we’ll go through your website with a fine-tooth comb before launch day.
5. Finishing Stage
Wrapping it up
Once all changes have been implemented and approved, I will be sending through the final invoice. When final payment is made, all design assets and source files will be released and sent to you.
